I will be displaying my Jeans at Weathered Beer Celebration again this year!

Weathered is a beer event and art show celebrating extreme beer styles. The styles of beer include imperial stout, barleywine, hazy IPA and Gueuze. Basically, it is a beer event run by beer nerd prepared for super connoisseur beer audiences!

The inaugural Weathered beer celebration has ended with huge success! Very impressive list of beers and great set of attendees and fantastic stuff! Thank you so much for your participation and keep your passion going for next year’s Weathered!

I will participate in Weathered Beer Celebration as one of the featured artist. Weathered is a beer event and art show celebrating extreme beer styles. The styles of beer include imperial stout, barleywine, hazy IPA and Gueuze. Basically, it is a beer event run by beer otaku prepared for super connoisseur beer audiences!

When I received the initial request, I thought about what I could make as a jeans artist, and I decided to suggest a new accessory unique to beer…🍻

Bomber Jeans: Jeans for 22oz beer bottles

Bomber Jeans are made with Japanese denim, which is made by Showa, who is my favourite denim manufacture from Kojima-city in Japan. The jeans is finished with one-wash, and it has nickel studs. All pockets are functional, you can fit or hide small items. Inside liners are dungaree, also made by the same manufacture, it has lovely patterns :-)

There are 10 jeans available to purchase at the event, at a event special price, yay!

↓I borrowed these nice looking bottles for a photoshoot. Apparently they are extremely rare beers…! oops. And they will be available for tasting at the event!

Weathered は、特殊なビールのみを扱った、大規模な試飲会のようなものだそうです。今回のイベントではImperial Stout, Barleywine, Hazy IPA, Gueuzeと言った種類のビールが130種類以上並ぶそうです。地元の醸造所の新作から、インポートまで、マニアも唸る数多くのレアビールばかりが注がれるそうです。要するに、簡単に説明しますと、ビールオタクによる、ビールオタクのための、ガチなビールイベントなんだそうです。ガチ！

私自身、ビールはあまり詳しくないんですが、オタクであるが故に、こういうガチなイベントは好きな方です（笑）耕す畑は違えど、偏った知識の量と、意味のわからない情熱の量は、負けてないはず（笑）そんなこんなで、この話を頂いたとき、このイベントのために、私なら何が作れるかを考えて、ビールならではの新しいアクセサリーを提案してみました。

Bomber Jeans: Jeans for 22oz beer bottles

ボマー、デュースデュース（22オンスのため）と呼ばれている、北米のポピュラーなビールボトルのために、ジーパンを作りました。イベントが一般的に「黒ビール」と呼ばれる種類に特化しているそうなので、黒のデニムで作りました。今回使用した生地はSHOWAさんの児島デニムです。裏地も密かにSHOWAさんのダンガリーを使いました。写真では見えませんが、素敵な柄ですよ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

仕様はワンウォッシュ。ステッチはアイボリー、ボタンはニッケル。ポケットも全て使用可能です。

飾るもよし！冷やして飲むもよし！花を生けるのもよし！使い方は自由だぁ〜！

↓撮影用にお借りしたレアビール10本…！黒の蝋キャップがかっこよかったので、適当に選んだんですが、なんかすっごいレアなビールらしいですよ💦こちらのビールも当日イベントで試飲できるそうです（中身は秘密㊙️）

余談ですが…私もお手伝いで参加します。2部で、おそらくアーティストブースに配属されるはず…です。万が一、もしかして、まさかのタイミングでバンクーバーにいらっしゃる予定の方で、しかも黒ビールダイスキーな方がいらっしゃいましたら、ぜひぜひお越しください（笑）
